Preserved from a vintage Bisquick advertisement, mid-century era. Public/ Bisquick “Chiffon” Waffles/Betty Crocker Advertisement Ingredients 2 eggs 1 cup milk 2½ cups Bisquick 2 tbsp. sugar ¼ cup cooking (salad) oil or melted shortening Instructions Beat eggs until soft peaks form. Gently stir in milk. Add Bisquick and sugar; mix just until thoroughly dampened. Fold in oil. Spoon batter onto hot waffle baker. Bake until golden brown. Serve with hot syrup. Yield Makes 2 large or 8 individual waffles.
